About the Snake River Valley Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Idaho

Welcome to our website and thank you for stopping by to learn more about us. The Snake River Valley Chapter of the NFBI is much more than a support group. We believe in the hopes and dreams of blind people and work together everyday to make them a reality.

 

You are invited to give us a call or send us an email. You may be surprised with the many ways that we can support you or your loved ones. Discover the many resources and opportunities available to you and get connected with wonderful people who reaally care.

 

The
National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is the largest organization
of the blind in the world. Founded in 1940, the Federation’s purpose
is to help blind people to achieve self-confidence, self-respect, and
self-determination. Our goal is the complete integration of the blind
into society on a basis of equality.

Visitors are always welcome and anyone may join.  We meet on
the third Saturday of the month at the Parks and Rec facility
located at 1575 N Skyline in Idaho Falls at 6:00 p.m..
I addition, we have State and National Conventions yearly that
you are welcome to participate in.

 

You have an open invitation to come to our monthly meetings or any of our other events.
